Bigsby Standard style, pre-trem Hamm-tone
This guitar is a pretty close replica to a 1949 Bigsby Standard, before Paul invented the tremolo. It is constructed from one piece of maple, split, resawn, re-joined, chambered and shaped, then bound with black walnut. It has a hand made walnut tailpiece, headplate veneer and armrest. The fretboard is flamed maple. The pickups are Lindy Fralin p-90's buried beneath custom pickup covers I made, it's sparklier and brighter than the original. This guitar is the best deal available currently when it comes to Bigsby style guitars.
