The Hamm-tone G-2 Electric Mandolin
This is a mandolin I built a good number of years ago. It has a chambered Swamp Ash body with a carved spruce top and a mahogany neck. Ebony fingerboard and bridge and rosewood binding on the top and the fingerboard. It's set up with 8 tuning machines and a standard style tailpiece; that way you can use it with 4, 5 6 or 8 strings. It has a Seymour Duncan Hot-rails pickup and is setup to have a coil tap on the tone knob, push pull style. It's fun to play if you're a mandolin player and don't want a lousy factory made "pretend-wanna-be-guitar" electric mandolin. This one's the real thing; it's a mandolin.
