This guitar has a lot of different influences...

I was lucky enough to study inlay with the Canadian inlay master William Laskin a number of years back.  His method has definitely rubbed off on me.  He's an important luthier, not only in Canada, but internationally.  He's responsible for inventing the bevelled armrest, a design which is now featured on guitars in every price bracket.  He's brilliant.  
The artwork on this guitar was a bit of a hybrid design, taking some of my ideas and some art from Matt James,  coming out with a neat looking guitar that really tells a story.
